What it looks like to work with me:

Working with me could look like a few different things.

We meet and discuss a specific problem. I'll propose a solution, sometimes with Excel, sometimes with other software you already use or is low cost.

We could work toghether collaboratively, I'm an advisor, coach, consultant, whatever makes you feel good to call me. We'll have regular meetings. Your projects go to the front of the queue. We'll talk about your goals and how to best reach them.

I'll help you use your data to make better decisions

I break things into milestones and for each invoice I send a spreadsheet of which items are crossed off.

Cost:

If it's more than a one time, short fix, I'll propose a full project with service agreement and schedule. Project work like this works out to about $3,000/month for longer term projects, it takes 2 months of work to complete most projects.

But it depends at the pace and complexity of your project.

Advising starts at $1,000/month for newer, smaller businesses, larger established companies with complex systems will be around $4,000/month.

Estimating

How you estimate is different than everyone else. You have a system that works but don't want to pay for a one size fits all (which is one size fits none) or custom software. Using Excel, most projects take weeks instead of months to hit the ground running.

Scheduling

As a construction business with projects sometimes you need schedules that are unique to your business. There is some great software out there, but if you don't have something that fits well, lets talk.

Cash Flow

If you can't pay your people, you don't have a business. How will the projects you're doing now affect your ability to perform later? How much are you susbsidizing your bad projects with your good?
